Join us in Tokyo: Bosch Packaging Technology at Interphex Japan

Containment solutions, inspection technology and new services – Bosch Packaging Technology demonstrates its expertise at Interphex Japan.

From July, 3 to 5, 2019, Bosch Packaging Technology will exhibit its latest innovations at Interphex Japan in Tokyo. “Visitors to our booth will see how we are continuously investing in proven and new technologies and services,” says Susumu Masuyama, Executive Officer at Bosch Packaging Technology K.K. in Japan. “We will show that safety for products, operators and patients comes first, and that we will always strive to be the most reliable partner for our customers.”

Long-term experience in containment Solutions
For more than 30 years, Bosch Packaging Technology’s isolator solutions have been known all over the world. As an example, visitors to Interphex Japan can see the filling and closing machine ALF for vials and ampoules in combination with Virtual Reality (VR) applications via a multimedia presentation. Bosch’s containment expertise also extends to OSD production, as the capsule filling machine GKF 702 ProTect for R&D or clinical purposes proves. As far as OSD development is concerned, the Xelum R&D for continuous manufacturing will show how pharmaceutical manufacturers can achieve a safe and fast time-to-market.

The highest safety thanks to inspection Technology
Safety is also paramount in the field of inspection technology. For the first time, Bosch Packaging Technology showcases its KLV benchtop device for container closure integrity testing (CCI) in
Japan. It is designed for Acceptance Quality Limit (AQL) batch release tests and development studies, using a fast but sensitive and reliable vacuum decay procedure.
“We will show our visitors how our technologies are continuously evolving around the world,” says Susumu Matsuyama. “This includes the fourth generation of our static division (SD) light-transmission-based technology for particle inspection, as well as our new initiative to introduce deep learning and artificial intelligence (AI) to inspection technology.”

Online service tool soon available for customers in Japan
As part of its service offer, Bosch Packaging Technology is setting up the E-Portal tool for Japanese customers. This comprehensive information and ordering platform supports customers with their spare parts management. Additionally, a tool for preventive maintenance – called ePMR – will be presented. Currently, both tools are only available for equipment, which is imported from Germany.

To complete this vast portfolio, Bosch Packaging Technology will showcase a selection of packaging materials that meet customers’ requirements for pharmaceutical applications.
