The Bosch Pharma Process Technology In-house Show took place in Hangzhou, China, from October 24 to 25. More than 300 customers appreciated the opportunity of getting deeper knowledge in expert sessions about aseptic and aseptic high potent processing, small batch applications and industry 4.0 solutions. For this reason, Bosch Packaging invited both internal and external experts from the pharmaceutical industry to give exciting lectures and to share their valuable experiences with the visitors.
Professor Gao, pharmacologist and toxicologist from a reputable Chinese institute was among the speakers. He shared interesting research and development experience from choosing the right process equipment, to risks, challenges and solutions for formulation development, up to releasing the final product.
Matthias Angelmaier, product manager for barrier systems and isolator technology, presented two case studies about customer projects and current trends and developments such as the processing of ADC´s or the optimization of H2O2 cycle times.
A renowned Chinese customer from the pharmaceutical industry also joined the event. He gave exciting insights into his experiences in recent years with the operation of a Bosch isolator system. Topics such as the challenges of regulatory inspections (e.g. FDA approvals) and Dos & Don´ts in daily operation were discussed.
Matthias Angelmaier experienced the seminar a complete success. “Besides the interesting user insights about the challenges of an isolator in daily operation, the final Q&A session was very important as we were able to respond to the individual questions and needs of our Chinese customers”, says Angelmaier.
The symposium ended with a factory tour in the Bosch Packaging Technology plant in Hangzhou, which provided interesting insights into current customer projects.
