Fighting cancer with highly active ingredients

Initiated in 2006 by the International Union Against Cancer (UICC), World Cancer Day takes place each year on February 4th. Its primary purpose is to raise public awareness about the prevention, research and treatment of cancer. Bosch’s Klaus Ullherr, new FXS Combi, PreVAS featured in January PharmTech.com

Then and now – visionary tunnel technology

The history of Bosch’s well-known sterilization tunnel began in the beginning of the 1970s. The engineer Ingbert Pennekamp was assigned to design a new tunnel for ampoules. In the greatest secrecy, the new model started taking shape in the assembly hall. Instead of developing the current equipment further, Ingbert Pennekamp set out to develop a groundbreaking technology. “It was our goal to provide customers with one solution for the entire process, thus facilitating their daily work,” Ingbert Pennekamp reports. The revolutionary result was a linear tunnel without any manual intermediate steps – at first with radiant heaters, later based on the laminar flow method for hot air sterilization. …more


Bosch showcases laboratory equipment in Moscow

At Pharmtech November 25th – November 28th, 2014 in Moscow, Bosch Packaging Technology will showcase its pharmaceutical laboratory equipment portfolio.

Exhibits include the FHM series for liquid pharmaceutical filling operations in laboratories and clinical trials, as well as two machines for mixing, granulating, and coating from the product brand Hüttlin.
